Asakusa - the old Tokyo

The oldest temple in Tokyo is the Temple of the Goddess of Mercy: Senso-ji ⛩ Of course, a tourist attraction and so we also plunge into the crowds of people in incense-filled air... actually the first time it's really uncomfortably crowded because we've been lucky so far 😊

The 5-story pagoda right next to it is equally impressive, although it was built or renovated much later.
