We spent a few days in Hiroshima. There, we enjoyed delicious ramen (see review) and visited a pachinko hall. The next day, we went to the Hiroshima Memorial Park and the museum. Witnessing the horrors of the atomic bomb and its aftermath was quite shocking and sobering. The museum gave us a close look at the events and the many fates of those affected.
The following day, we took a day trip to Miyajima Island. There, we visited a temple and climbed to the highest mountain on the island.
