The Trip
My trip across the big pond

This is how the adventure in Mexico begins: with a lot of preparation, of course. The last days were mainly filled with shopping and packing in addition to university. Since Edoardo from Italy is moving in as a subtenant, I had to clear everything personal out of the room, which made me realize what a hoarder I am... hopefully, I won't grow old alone; otherwise, I'll end up living in an apartment that looks like my room during packing. Here's a fun challenge: between the first and second pictures, exactly one day has passed, spot the differences.

With the enthusiastic support of friends, my flatmates, my mom, and especially Jone (kisses kisses kisses), it was finally done late Saturday night. The suitcase, backpack, and room were ready for departure (only I wasn't quite there yet). I had to say goodbye to my family on Friday as they headed to Portugal, and I won’t see Jone for a whole year now (at least the time difference between Vancouver and CDMX isn’t too bad, so hopefully, we can call often). If I'm lucky, Mom and Dad might visit me at Christmas, that would be wonderful.
And then, with the prospect of 4 hours of sleep, I went to bed. Tomorrow the journey begins!!
