I woke up early in the morning, packed my things, and took the tram to the train station in Brussels. There, I went to the check-in for the Eurostar, which was going to London.
Unfortunately, after all the security checks, I couldn't proceed because my passport had expired. That completely messed up my plans, and I had to figure out what else I could do instead.
In the end, I decided to visit a friend of my mother's who lives near Ghent. There, I did some research on what else I could do. In the evening, we had dinner together, had a nice chat, and watched the movie 'Mathilda' together.
