Soon we're going on a big tour

We have always enjoyed traveling. Getting to know different people, cultures, and countries has always fascinated us. After retiring from work earlier than planned, we now have the opportunity to do the big thing.

About a year ago, we became aware of this journey and booked it. The entire southern hemisphere in one package. We were immediately thrilled. There are so many dream destinations included.

In the last few days, we have been faced with a mountain of preparations. It's not just a short vacation. Many things need to be taken into consideration: vaccinations, doctor visits and medications, a passport with many blank pages, visas, COVID regulations, regular communication with home, insurance, and managing our apartment, among others. Oh, and we still need to pack.

Perhaps this is why we are so eager to finally get started!

Why are we telling you this? We are primarily creating this travel report for ourselves and our friends. But maybe others are interested as well.

It will be about memories, descriptions, tips, and anecdotes.
