Akchour Waterfalls

After a delicious pancake breakfast, we start our hike to the Akchour Waterfalls. It takes a while for more people to come for the shared taxi, so we have time for an espresso.

The taxi ride passes by a beautiful mountain scenery. The hiking trail itself is also beautiful, but challenging with the sometimes slippery river crossings and Rhani is quite fast. :-D

The hiking trail passes by small restaurants. I can imagine that the hike is not as enjoyable in summer and the path is crowded with tourists. At least that's also evident from the plastic waste that is scattered on the hiking trails and accumulates in the rivers. So sad.... :(

Once we reach the destination, we enjoy the waterfall scenery while having a bean soup. We share our food with the many stray cats running around here.
