Tag 6 - Central Market & Souk

We started the day today after a late breakfast on the hotel's own observation deck, 300 meters high. From here, you can have a beautiful overview of Abu Dhabi. Admission is free for hotel guests, so we can go up as often and as long as we want.

Then we took a taxi to the Central Market. Unfortunately, there is no traditional souk anymore in Abu Dhabi. They have all been adapted to modern times. There are countless malls here, each one bigger and more modern than the other.

At the souk, we bought a traditional outfit for Christin and then had a small photo shoot near the waterfront promenade, "Corniche" 😀.

The Corniche stretches for several kilometers. You can walk, ride a bike, scooter, or other rental vehicles here, but we have planned that for another day.
