Day 5 - From the desert to the city

Today we drove back to the big city by car. First, we returned our rental car at the airport and then took a taxi to our hotel. The Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.

Jumeirah stands for luxury in many tourist destinations around the world. And the Etihad Towers are a complex of five skyscrapers where you can find pretty much everything your heart desires. Shopping mall, spa, fitness studio, hotel, offices, apartments, pool, and sea.

We were welcomed at the hotel with a refreshment and cold towels. That's a great welcome when the outside temperature is 34 degrees.

We were able to check into our room on the 41st floor immediately and admire it. For everything here, there is a button, a switch, or a remote control. Even for the curtains 😀😀😀.

For the sunset, we went up to the hotel's own observation deck on the 74th floor. From there, we had a great view of the Emirates Palace Hotel and the Presidential Palace.

Afterwards, we took a bath and enjoyed the view of Abu Dhabi.

Now we are looking forward to our 5-star nap and replenishing our energy for the activities of the next few days.
