S'Amarador

If you want to enjoy Caribbean flair, you have to come here once. Located on the edge of a nature reserve, you will find this dreamy beach.

We started at 7 am to enjoy this bay without many people. At around 8:30 am, we arrived and found a nearly empty beach in front of us. We decided to choose beach chairs in the last row and started to enjoy the day.

The water is wonderfully clear. You can see the fish and jellyfish swimming beneath us.

After the first refreshment, we went on a little bay hike. After about 10 minutes, we reached the neighboring bay "Mondrago", which offers a breathtaking view.

Between the two bays, you can admire the yachts of mostly German captains – we don't find that particularly appealing.

Just dozed off briefly at lunchtime and our air mattresses were stolen. We didn't think anything bad and thought the wind was the guilty party – but we were taught better. Our air mattresses (thankfully they have bright colors) were floating far out on the sea along with the children. Now we have to retrieve them.

Number ONE is quite quick, as the kids were heading towards the beach. But Number TWO was drifting in the middle of the two bays with the little kids' gang (two girls and a boy). After swimming for a while, we reached them and were able to retrieve the second air mattress for ourselves. Afterwards, we let ourselves drift on the bay for hours.

It was a wonderful day at the beach and we didn't return to our finca until after 12pm.
