So I'll keep it short: First half of the morning was spent writing a blog about the Tren de los Volcanes. Then, because the weather was nice, I either went on a caching tour in the big park next door or took the Teleferico up to the house volcano. Paulina strongly recommended the Teleferico since the weather was so nice.
I ended up being overcharged for a taxi ride there, looked for the entrance, felt like I was in line at St. Peter's Basilica, and turned back. It was less expensive to take a taxi to Plaza de la Independencia. There, I went up to the roof of Vista Hermosa and took a few pictures. Since it was noon, I had a leisurely meal up there. Then I went to Marin Central and finally bought some sunscreen. $18 is very expensive, I thought, but it bothered me to always have to be wearing long sleeves. So, I didn't think twice! Just bought it and that was it!
I took the Ecovia and managed to catch the right bus back home. I hiked up to the house, stopping in the shade and drinking half a liter of water. At home, I went through my school stuff, reviewed, practiced Spanish, and chatted on WhatsApp (or is it WhatsApped?).
Above all, I wanted to wish Aline a good start with my class, or rather, ex class.
Afterthought: Sometimes boring is not so bad. It was nice.
