Kauai

The first stop on the 2026 summer vacation Hawaiian island-hopping trip was Kauai. And to get straight to the point: This stay left a lot to be desired... Kauai had taken a somewhat resistant stance towards us - whether it was closed beaches, no access to the Na Pali Coast (which was one of the reasons we came to Hawaii in the first place), multiple canceled excursions - we actually found it difficult to fill our days here, and somehow during our 4-day stay we ended up at Waimea Canyon 3 times. It's certainly beautiful, but you don't need to see it every day. Anyway, a few pictures were taken regardless.
