The day started with 0 hours of sleep. I went to the citizens' office to have my address written on my Residence Card. It took about 2 hours. There I met Jann.
Jann is a Frenchman living in the USA and doing a sabbatical research semester here. He also lives in Mejirodai and is in his mid-50s. So he's doing the same thing as me, just at an older age. To be honest, I think that's pretty cool. He also directly recommended his company, Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ONRL) in the USA, as a workplace. Lol, I have to remember that somewhere. He apparently works at the Hongo Campus in Neuro Science. Unfortunately, I haven't seen him since then.
After that, I moved on to Health Insurance. I actually just wanted to briefly tell the people there that I already have health insurance for abroad. Well. Now I am insured three times. But at least it only costs 2000 Yen a month here…

After that, I went to
But honestly, not because of the shrine, but because Samy told me there was food everywhere. (I was hungry)
I was not disappointed:

Finally something hearty and definitely the best thing I've eaten there!

In Japan, it's always strawberry season! I'm sure I passed by these stands 5 times. The best part about it is the strawberries😅
I don't want to talk about how much money I spent there :|
Oh yeah, and here's the shrine:

There seemed to be more people than what was standing here.
Now let's remember the beginning: 0 hours of sleep. So before I fall asleep a second time on the subway or standing up, I bought myself a coffee for the first time in my life alone.

My God, by the end I was exhausted…
After that, I went to Tokyo Tower! (Very nice view, but it would be too much here otherwise…)

After that, I still went out to eat and then went home. There I got to meet the lovely Sophia from Austria! She also lives with me:)
