....were rainy days.
They consisted of bad nights, thanks to jet lag and money problems.
My N26 card, which I got EXTRA for Japan, didn't work at all... My Deutsche Bank card really saved me there. But I'm still a bit worried about the fees that might come my way🤐
Theresa was so kind to help me and called them on my behalf. However, they immediately redirected her to chat support. It took 3 days to get everything running! Thanks again, Theresa 🤗
However, I cannot recommend this bank. I kept going to the コンビニ to see if it finally worked.... Ah, just don’t remind me of that.
It looked something like this:
After that, the weather got better and my sightseeing day came. I slowly got a grip on sleep... *cough* right now it's 1:07 am *cough*
So tip for everyone: Don't do it like I did! This was my first time with jet lag, and you can't do it any worse!
Otherwise, I also took care of settling in. That means taking pictures of everything and clarifying all details. Something like last time won't happen to me again…
And I was in Ikebukuro for the first time! That's the nearest station to me, and there are countless shopping opportunities!
I've also met some of my roommates during these days. There are a total of 20. I don’t know all of them yet, but that will come:)
I also went out to eat with people for the first time! Here you go:
These dumplings were my highlight.
Unfortunately, they weren’t mine, but Paul was kind enough to share one with me. Let’s just say I’ve been looking for a soup dumpling restaurant since because I found them so amazing.
Oh, and doing laundry here was also an exciting experience. Especially when you don't have internet to translate 🤐
