Day with Lina
After 9 hours of sleep between 0 and 1 PM, I missed some messages and knocks on my door. So I was really out of it. I made plans with Lina :) Lina is my roommate and is also...

I met Yuna on my first day here. She also lives in Mejirodai, and I just chatted her up as soon as I arrived. After I rambled on about Japanese toilets (you all have to deal with that too!), she still wanted to go out for a meal with me.
I knew about this dish from the series Culinary Class War and had to try it here at some point.
They only serve Soup Dumplings in the evenings here, so the search continues... (But they were really great).
Thanks to Yuna, I now know how to eat them :D
Throughout the day, I also found out that she goes to UTokyo as well. Plus, she was able to explain quite a few things to me here. For example, how the clubs work around here. Apparently, it's all very competitive, and I will definitely not be participating in that. She is a manager in Lacrosse :)
After that, we headed towards Ueno Park to check out the cherry blossoms there.
On the way, we found a temple.
This temple isn't red, and as she explained to me, the red ones belong to Chinese religion, while these belong to ancient Japanese religions.
It was very beautiful in Ueno Park! But we weren't the only ones who thought so.
After that, I went shopping for a bit. (I still need a gi and a million other things...)
Luckily, I finally found a plug for my laptop here. Now I can finally get to work on my schedule for next week…
In the evening, there was a meeting for the shared apartment. We got to try a lot of snacks from other countries! And made name tags :D
