Going out to eat 1 🤦🏻‍♀️

The first time I went out to eat, I was alone. Right across from my dorm in Vallage Merche.

Wow, that was a disaster.

After sitting at the wrong table, it started:

Accessing the menu via QR code and then ordering. Well, I’ll go with the advertised buffet and a cola (remember: sleep deprivation). The kind server told me that they also have drinks at the buffet that I can get myself. Oh great! So I don’t need the cola after all, right? So I canceled the cola order. 🤦🏻‍♀️

NO, heavens. That was the most uncomfortable meal ever. Well, no, maybe the second most uncomfortable (more to come).

The buffet was actually supplementary. I mean really tiny. Usually, you take something from the menu and then there’s the buffet in addition. Not like me, the penny pincher, just taking the buffet 🤦🏻‍♀️

Of course, I gradually realized all this as I kept getting items from the cold buffet because it - oh surprise - didn’t fill me up.
