And with more doubts, it continues.

My shoes have been torn for ages and I haven't managed to repair them yet. Finally, the day came and I am quite satisfied with my newly acquired sewing skills.

Other times, I felt a bit lonely. Luckily, Jana was available when needed. In the evenings, we often had video chats and talked about our current situations. That really helped!

The next day, I managed to motivate myself and finally do some exercise. Running five kilometers more or less worked well. Anyway, the main thing is that I did something again. Later at work, it was so boring that I thought I couldn't stay here. I am losing my inner liveliness and cheerfulness due to this boredom and monotony. And everything is replaced by frustration and gloom. This can't continue like this.

My coworker flew back to Sydney for a few days to visit his brother, who unfortunately had cancer. We wished him all the best and then worked as a team for a few days.

The next day, we worked as a team of two, as we do every weekend. My coworker was in the backyard and a few customers wanted to buy a car battery. So, I carried them to the cash register. That's when I noticed that some liquid was flowing onto my hands. And suddenly it hissed and white smoke rose from my hand and it burned! What kind of safety conditions are these?! That battery acid has to run over my hands. My coworker was nowhere to be found and the customers were in the store. Great. On the second attempt to find him, it worked and I was able to save my hands from the acid. Even though it sounds so extreme, there was actually nothing visible on my hand afterwards. No burn, nothing. Got lucky again. But the shock is deep.

The next day, I logged into my gov online. There you can see your taxes and pension contributions. But there was nothing... I called there and they let me know that it does not necessarily mean that no taxes are being paid for me. It depends on the type of payment. However, the pension fund definitively stated that no account was created for me. What kind of employer am I working for here? Frustration and sadness set in. I saw no solution. Just wanted to get away from here. Felt completely fooled.

As an alternative, I wanted to ask at the resort where the pool is, if they need someone there. So, I went there around noon to vent and actually, I was able to talk to an employee. The boss will be back on Thursday. Then it's just a waiting game.
