A job offer is in sight.

01.08.2019:

First breakfast and a little later, when Jana got up, there was a second one: eggs and bacon :).

A short time later, I received a message. Someone had contacted me regarding my job search. We were supposed to talk on the phone tomorrow. I didn't want to get too excited too soon. You never know.

In the evening, Jana and our host Sean went to the beach together to go for a run. A nice change directly by the water without shoes in the sand with a view of the sunset.

02.08.2019:

I was supposed to be called at 10:30 a.m. When I didn't hear anything by 10:55 a.m., I called myself. He still had to pick up someone from the airport and would call me back. The job sounded quite alright. I agreed, but I wanted to spend a few more days in Darwin first. Because the job in a small bush shop in an Aboriginal community was supposed to be on Groote Eylandt Island.

Satisfied, Jana and I went to the gym in the house at noon. She actually exhausted me with different exercises. After a shower, we went to the waterfront, a really beautiful spot. And in the evening, to the bar with three French people who were also staying with our host.

03.08.2019:

Around noon, I went to the city with the French people, where there was an Indonesian festival with food and a show to admire. Culturally, it was a little reminder of Asia :).
