During the bus ride to Bangkok in the evening, despite having empty seats, I was cramped next to a Thai woman by the window. At some point, my backpack became too heavy, so I placed it on the floor between me and it kept sliding back and forth. Problem: My glasses were attached to it. Result: Deep scratches in the field of vision on the left side. Great!
