Chiang Mai

Next, we continued with an overnight train to Chiang Mai. A large city in northern Thailand. Our accommodation was located in the Old Town, which is a very touristy area. To escape all the tourist hustle and bustle, we did a two-day hike in one of the surrounding national parks. We really enjoyed the hike and spending the night in the jungle. However, we didn't get much sleep at night because two of our fellow hikers got sick and vomited. Other than that, we didn't do much in Chiang Mai and just rested from the challenging hike.
