Caminho Portuges - Departure Day

Departure Day.

Today is the day and I'm incredibly excited. The backpack is way too heavy and I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to get to my accommodation in Porto. But I'm determined and looking forward to it. I've received so much positive support and encouragement, that I'm ready to start the adventure!

I almost forgot, and I waited specifically for my globetrotter package. My socks!

But now everything is packed and ready to go. On the way to the airport, I realize my plan. But hey, I've already overcome other situations. For example, I had to unexpectedly come down from the mountain early in Patagonia because I injured my ankle. And yet, it turned into a very positive and enriching experience! You just have to go through life with optimism - as the pessimist said 😄!

At the airport in Frankfurt, I enjoy my (for now) last expensive coffee before it's time for a Cafe con Leche for 1.20€!!!

And now the journey can finally begin. Porto - Portugal here I come!
