We are "hopping" through Milan

After having to fry the toast for breakfast in a pan without a toaster 🍞, we drove to the city center for €2 each and picked up our Milan Card. With that, we can use as much public transportation as we want, which we have already been doing diligently, and we get discounts on museums and other attractions🤓

We took advantage of that and spent this day on the "cool" but low 🤕 hop on - hop off buses, so we've already seen all the important stuff (Leonardo Da Vinci, the Castello, the Arch of Peace) 🚎👀

Since we had to wait for the first bus for so long, we already had our first ice cream from Italy🍦

After a longer stop at the horse racing track 🏇 / the Milan football stadium ⚽️, as the bus couldn't continue due to poorly parked cars, we deserved some food and a cold drink.

After walking through the famous 'Galleri Vittori Emanuele II' and along the Milan Cathedral, we had a poke bowl and cola 🥢🥤 Will we also eat something typically Italian? 🇮🇹

My favorite 'artwork' was definitely the knot with needle and thread, which stands in front of the Nordbahnhof and which we definitely saw five times 🪢🧶🪡

Then it was back to the vacation apartment, as the heat has exhausted us a lot. So we cooked a relaxing dinner and thought about what we would do tomorrow 🍴😌

P.S.: There were 42 tunnels and 28 roundabouts that we drove through yesterday 🚗💨
