Bangkok is a really big city with lots and lots of people and traffic. Today morning, we took the metro to the center where we first visited the temple of the 'Golden Buddha'. We then walked through the city, through Chinatown and small side streets with market stalls to the next temple. The Golden Mountain was a temple on a small hill from where you had a great view of the city. After that, we walked over the Khoa San Road, the street for backpackers, where it was much more touristy than the rest of the city.
Here, there's just a lot going on and thousands of smells (like spices and fish) are constantly around you. Another adventure here is crossing the street because everyone just drives on even if the traffic light is red. It's best to just follow the locals.
Tomorrow, we will already leave Bangkok and head to Phuket, where we will finally have beach and sea. :D
