Once again we had to overcome ourselves to get up, which became increasingly difficult. But this morning we got up, packed our wagon and off we went. Unfortunately, there was only a busy main road out of Disentis, which we had to get through for the next stage. In one of the following villages, the backpack was filled to the top with provisions again. Suddenly we were surprised by Hartmut Böhler and his machine. After a short chat, we continued, always uphill.
In the last inn before the lake, we strengthened ourselves a little more, then the struggle with our cart started to the refuge. At first, we went up a steep paved road towards the Oberalp Pass, but then it became impassable terrain. All 13 men helped, some at the front, others at the side and back, and pulled with all their might.
The steep part didn't seem to end quickly, but soon we saw the refuge. Unfortunately, we had to find out that a night's stay cost 14 francs, which we were naturally not willing to pay, so we set up our tents.
After everyone had eaten, the almost won victory over 200km was celebrated in the refuge.
After three rounds of beer, the landlady ran out of beer, so we had to switch to wine, which did not agree with us very well.
We tried to drag a few "well-behaved" Swiss people into our "delirium", but we didn't succeed.
When we wanted to go to our tent the next "morning", there was a so-called traffic jam in front of the dwellings. No one knew anymore which tent they belonged to. Over time, it worked out and we fell asleep right away.
