Stage 26: Kaysersberg - Convent Saint Marc

Finally, nature gets the long-awaited rain. I am prepared and happy for the day. Today, it's mostly through nature, it's simply beautiful. I regret that I can't distinguish the many bird songs.

In Niedermorschwiehr, the church tower spire is twisted, in Turckheim, the first of two Jacobuses awaits me today.

I'm glad that I'm now good at walking, nothing else would have worked here, it goes from 300 to 800 meters in altitude, up and down.

Of course, I'm taking a detour again, I would have liked to skip the 3 chateaus, but even in the rain, it's better to look at the directions 🙄.

In the Convent Saint-Marc of the Sisters of Saint Joseph, I am the only guest in the monastery, but I am protected by thick monastery walls that even shield all phone waves.

For that, I am so well taken care of that I can't finish all the food. I haven't eaten this much in weeks.
