I complete my 11th week of the long journey on the 21st day of the Via Podiensis. The last day in Gascony is long again with 33 km. However, I don't want to arrive in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port too late on Wednesday in order to continue the Camino in Spain from Thursday onwards.
We say goodbye early, Eric and I, from Llios from Wales, our roommates are separated.

Barcelonne-du-Gers seamlessly transitions into Aire-sur-l’Adour. The gothic portal of the abbey church is particularly worth seeing.

This time, the day is not characterized by vineyards, but by cornfields. They stretch endlessly.

It is an opportunity to pay attention to nature.

The way is also signposted again.

By 4 p.m., I am in the municipal refuge in Arzacq-Arraziguet with Eric and the day ends well.
