Day 0: San Pedro de Atacama - Calama - Santiago de Chile - Rapa Nui
This time, the private pickup at the hostel in San Pedro worked out well!😅 We took a modern and comfortable minibus for 75 minutes over the 95 km back to the airport in Calama. Shortly after departure, we actually saw wild Pequnias near the road!
Check-in, flight, … by 3 PM we were already at the hotel in Santiago de Chile. The afternoon was still long; the weather was sunny but cool. So we took an Uber downtown to Placa de Armas, exchanged some money. Afterwards, we had an excellent dinner at Erhard's favorite restaurant and returned to the hotel - time to catch up on sleep!!😂
