Day 17, Fri, 24.10. Ship Day 1 NM: Isabela Island/Puerto Villamil

In the afternoon, I treated myself to a little break after the tension of the previous evening and morning😵😴😬, while my friend enjoyed the afternoon land excursion to a turtle breeding station.

A brief note about the ship itself: We intentionally chose a smaller vessel to avoid the usual tourist frenzy. There are a total of only three couples and three solo travelers, including Erhard and myself on board. The crew consists of about 7 people, along with the official and mandatory tour guide and caretaker.
