Viana do Castelo

When we arrived in Portugal, we first visited Viana do Castelo, a small Portuguese town in the north of Portugal. Tiles on and in houses are as much a part of Portugal as brick houses are here in Northern Germany. The church of Santa Luzia towers on the mountain above the city.
