Yesterday evening we already knew that the North Sea is not the most suitable for us with small children, so yesterday evening we decided to move on this morning. Unfortunately, there is no possibility of bathing due to the changing tides, so we are heading to the eastern shore of the Baltic Sea.
We knew that the two seas are so different, but we wanted to see. What is the reason for this difference? Good question, we need to find out...
The northern part of Germany is quite narrow, we crossed from the North Sea to the Baltic Sea in about an hour - through villages.
We already know the Baltic Sea, we have walked our feet in it several times on Rügen and in Sweden, so we knew what to expect.
So after the usual morning routine, we checked out and started. Adam's usual laziness, Ben's usual attempts to wake Adam up. Unfortunately, he succeeded again in the end😫
By around 10 o'clock we are already at the campsite, in a good place, under a big tree, so we have shade all day. We need it, it's scorching hot, you can only survive by the beach.
We quickly check the beach as well, Ben wants to go in, but unfortunately there is no lifeguard in the morning, it is prohibited.
We cooked and ate lunch, then it was nap time for the boys.
Ben woke up after a good hour of sleep, Adam dozed off. Ben would have definitely gone for a swim. But what is delayed is not lost...
A little snack after the nap and off to the beach. Adam is excited whenever he sees water. The two of them are selling the area. If someone sees us, they probably think that these guys have never seen the sea...😬
We spent the afternoon there, it was a pleasant time. Of course, we took a sunshade and spent most of the time there with Adam, we don't want the baby's skin to turn red. Ben was very active, he got really tired by the evening.
Before dinner, bathing and after dinner, a fun game for the boys.
