Chichen Itza - Wonder of the World

Very early in the morning, we took a bus to Chichen Itza. During the journey, we received a lot of information about the historical site and the Maya people who once lived there. We also learned about the Mayan calendar.
Finally, we arrived at our destination. With a guide, we walked through the large area and learned interesting facts and explanations about everything we were allowed to see.
With our newfound knowledge, we explored the remaining corners of the site on our own and examined everything closely. We admired the buildings and the stories behind them.
Eventually, we had to make our way back to the bus, which took us safely back home.
It was an exciting day that came to an end, and we learned a lot and furthered our education.
Tomorrow, the tour continues, and early waking up is on the agenda.
