Reaching for the sky

A new day, a new hiking trail. 🙂

Since there was a thunderstorm warning for us today starting from 4:00 PM (the storm is currently happening at 10:00 PM local time...), we started early towards Jasper.

After a stop at the Jasper House, an old trading post, we continued to the 'Miette Hot Springs' - from there we hiked on foot on the 'Sulphur Skyline Trail', which offered us wonderful views - but that was the least after the ascent 😃
