We drove to Dinosaur Provincial Park, which is approximately 250 kilometers away. Due to the numerous finds of dinosaur fossils, it is part of UNESCO's World Heritage and is located in the Canadian Badlands.
Since it was extremely hot, we didn't walk much, but the displayed fossils and the landscape were definitely worth a visit.
Originally, we wanted to stop at the Blackfoot First Nations Reserve on the way back, but unfortunately we didn't make it in time.
