Beach and Culture

In the morning we started off to Madina de Pisa. A beach resort 10 minutes away. Very few tourists, a beautiful stone and a beautiful sandy beach. We leave again around half past 1. On to the task of the day. Trying to keep Jule sand-free in the car. There is a shower, but every time she sits back in the sand. A never-ending story...

In the afternoon we want to visit the tower and at least see the rest of the monuments. We won't be able to get Jule to take a nap by then. So imagine. The giant cathedral, a screaming child on the marble floor, and signs saying Silencio everywhere. Good thing no one knows us here....Then it continued carrying Jule - very easy on the back. But everything very impressive - the baptistery and the Camposanto monumentale (only later realized: it's a cemetery, graves made of stone are on top).

In the evening we wanted to barbecue - but our electric grill broke. So we used a pan instead.

Dad has to pack everything again. We'll be moving on tomorrow. The night is going to be exhausting - stupid mosquitoes. Huge ones. Even though we make sure to always close the fly screens, they still somehow get in.
