Last night, there was still a persistent screaming of a neighboring child... In the past, I would have thought it was getting killed. Today, I know it was just getting put on pajamas...
Today, the sun is shining in Sweden. It is warm. Time to put on some shorts. After breakfast, we went to the local LIDL to stock up on supplies. And what do we see in the parking lot? A motorhome from Dresden. The world is a small place.
We miss fresh bakery rolls. Somehow, all we can find are these mediocre milk rolls and everything else tastes terrible. My first task in Dresden: go to the bakery early and buy a variety of rolls.
For lunch, we had fish sticks with mashed 'ratoffel'. After that, Mom put in the most expensive load of laundry so far. It started at €2.20 at Müritz. Now we're at €7. From now on, we have to wear everything three times or turn it inside out ;)
Afterwards, we decided to explore the city. According to the travel guide, there should be a grand castle here. Örebro Slott. Philip only came along to the castle because he smelled ice cream at every corner. And he got it. €3 per scoop, but they were huge. The city itself didn't impress us much. Weird people were loitering everywhere or loudly throwing bikes at each other. We decided to leave quickly because it was starting to rain again. Dad had read about a Lego store. Yes, he still can't get enough... Hoping to find a bargain, we went there. Once again, eBay and Amazon were much cheaper. But how do you get a four-year-old out of the store without buying anything. Well, Dad... So both of them had an evening activity of building Legos.
By the way, we have ducks here that walk across the square every evening. Jule loves it.
Tomorrow, maybe we'll go to the water park...
