Osaka Castle

This morning, Osaka Castle was on our program schedule. The impressive fortress, or rather the bastion of ancient samurai dynasties, majestically rises high as soon as you leave the JR Station (Japan Rail). Simply follow the crowd of tourists and you will soon find yourself in front of the main entrance of this remarkable fortification/heritage of Japan. The museum is spread over several floors, but it cannot be compared to a traditional museum.

After the visit, we checked out the adjacent shrine and then walked back to the train station where we treated ourselves to some delicious pancakes for lunch. 😍
