Day 25 - Trip to Kangaroo Beach

We start our journey today at Horse Head Rocks in Horseshoe Bay. There is a small path along the bay that we hike along. It rained last night and it is really humid. When we arrive at Horse Head Rocks, we can only make out the horse in the rock with a lot of imagination. We continue on to Tilba, a small historic town. The town is really beautiful and includes many small shops in colorful houses with flower-filled gardens.

Next, we visit Australia Rock in Narooma. Just behind Australia Rock are the Seal Rocks and we spot some seals. They are sunbathing and going into the water and spinning in the strong current.

We make a short stop in the town of Bodalla. There is a country band playing in the pub and we listen for a while. Then we drive to Moruya Heads Lookout.

The vegetation becomes more tropical. In Murramarang National Park, there is Pebbly Beach and the drive there alone is a highlight. The trees are tall and some have vines, we also see palm trees and some flags. When we arrive at Pebbly Beach, we encounter a really beautiful beach and some kangaroos that live there. We observe the kangaroos for a while and walk along the beach. Then we continue to our last accommodation before driving to Sydney. This time in Jervis Bay, we have a small kitchen and cook pasta for dinner and have a glass of rosé.
