The Hsinchu Zoo has recently been renovated and it looks great. The grounds are beautifully designed, the enclosures looked good, and we had a warm 25°C. However, the area is not particularly large and we were done in less than an hour.
There were some monkeys, a hippo, flamingos, bears, and a few other animals to admire. There were information boards at all enclosures, some of which were even in English. I thought that the entrance fee of 50NT$ (~1.60€) was definitely worth it.
Right next to it was the Glass Museum and there was even a Glass Blowing Workshop where you could watch the process. We watched the production of a bowl and then went into the museum. Hsinchu, and
Since we spontaneously felt like having burgers, we went to Table Joe again and I treated myself to a burger with powdered sugar, strawberries, and a sweet sauce. It was unusual, but incredibly delicious. After that, we went home and spent the rest of the day relaxing.
