Long live Las Vegas

After being strengthened, I drove to the hotel, one day later than reserved.

But finding a hotel room in Vegas is really the least of your worries.

So I checked in at the Luxor and explored the Strip.

Here America comes alive in every color. Flashy, colorful, loud, and definitely crazy.

These HUGE hotels, unbelievable. And really, a casino in every single one. Here, the dollars fly away and despite all the romantic fantasies, mostly out of your pocket.

But I made it through and enjoyed the city.

By the way, I slept very well in 'my pyramid'.

I had to cancel my overnight stay at the Grand Canyon, but today I'm going there by helicopter.

I really want to see that thing.

It's going to be exciting.

From here, I'll head south to Kingman, Arizona this afternoon.
