En route to New Orleans

Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to visit my brother at his home in Lubbock 😔 However, he offered to drive us to New Orleans with his son and spend the remaining days in the south together.




About 900 kilometers on the road with a detour to Natchez



The Mississippi is the 4th longest river in the world and even more impressive with the current high water level


No trains run here anymore


The last 30 kilometers are on stilts through the swamps of Louisiana
