After fleeing from Waihi, I arrived in Tauranga around 8pm and immediately headed towards the city center to find a restaurant.
The place reminds me a bit of Timmendorf, I don't know why!
So I went to the nearest pub, Brew Craft Beer Pub https://goo.gl/maps/yudKiZ6ra5K2, which advertised the widest variety of craft beers, and ordered the daily special.
Scott fillet with chips and salad.
It's always the case that when you expect nothing, you are pleasantly surprised!
And in this pub, I actually had one of my best steaks in NZ. Especially because it was also medium-rare.
Hats off! I didn't expect that!
