Belgium and Holland are exemplary in terms of cycle paths and signage. The official cycle path goes through the dunes, very well developed, if not asphalted, then paved and always well signposted.
In recent days, I have noticed that Holland's North Sea coast is a very popular holiday destination. Near larger towns, there was no passage this weekend. The proportion of electric bikes has also increased enormously here, and reckless driving is on the rise, especially since I believe that many people underestimate the speed.
Therefore, I have now left the coast and cycle through the villages... a very good decision, the villages are really worth seeing and the local cyclists radiate a lot of tranquility, that's vacation.
For Holland, I have to plan a few extra days, in the small towns like Brielle and Middelburg, time passes faster than expected. But I also treat myself to the big cities, after The Hague I have planned Amsterdam for tomorrow (16.07.).
You simply see more by bike!
