The first day or Fado and wine
Why not? Book and two days later you're on your way to Lisbon... The day is dragging on, but I still have the opportunity to visit Mareike and then I drive to the airport. It's...

Why do I feel so comfortable here from the first minute? First, because the Portuguese are really relaxed, calm, and accommodating.
But also because it's like Africa in miniature here. We know that Portugal played a leading role in the transatlantic slave trade, and that is evident in the population. Above all, black people from Angola and Cape Verde, or with roots there, live here. I like it.
On the second day, I am damn tired, I start proofreading Klausen. A dream come true. Then I get to know Lisbon better and want to let the city have an effect on me today. Lisbon is beautiful, but not as beautiful as Nice, for example.
Above all, I am particularly fond of the Alfama district with its super narrow alleys. Speaking of narrow alleys, you should definitely stay on the sidewalks, tram 28 flies by at a pace that blows your hat off. There is just enough space for a piece of paper between the tram and the house wall.
I'm hungry and go to the Mozambican restaurant. Bill sits next to me, he must be at least 60 years old, comes from the USA, and now wants to eat here too. And he has a friend on Facebook who knows the owner of the restaurant well and now Bill wants to take a photo of himself and the owner as proof that he was really here and ate. 😀
The owner was born in Mozambique, but came to Portugal as a child. At the age of 18, he started traveling the country again and bringing his cuisine to Portugal.
When I want to leave, we start talking, I talk about my family, what I'm doing here, etc. and make it clear that I can only speak 10 words in Portuguese - but I understand very well what the two men are saying about me to each other 😂😄. The food ( http://www.cantinhodoaziz.com/ ) is amazing, it's rice with cabbage and a peanut / coconut sauce. It's about 1 pm, it's my first meal and it will be the only one because it's so filling. I can't even think about eating until the next day.
I decide to take a ride on tram 28, which goes through the hilly part of the city. It's a 7 km ride up and down until it ends, everyone has to get off, and I decide not to take it back but to walk back following the tracks.
Once again, I realize how much I miss my camera, there is so much beauty to see.
Lisbon, I like you. But I'm going to bed, fatigue overwhelms me in the early evening. 😀
