Tag 1 - 22.07.2023 Start in Ceske Budejovice

Just as planned...with a 30-minute delay, we started. Luckily, we had already bought a vignette for Czech Republic online, so we didn't have to wait in line. First break at Restaurant zur Goldenen Möwe after an hour of driving. After that, we unfortunately only made slow progress with a lot of traffic. We finally made it to Budweis around 4 pm. Our hotel is very centrally located. After a short break, we went out for a stroll in the city. Of course, first we had some ice cream and then we walked along the Moldau river, heading towards the Premysl Ottokar II Square with the Town Hall and Samson Fountain. We then went to the Black Tower and Piaristen Square with the Monastery. On the way back to the Moldau river, passing by houseboats, which were nice to look at, we went to the playground in the park, where the children could play around some more....
