Day 5 Walk to Gouves

Today we set off after breakfast to explore the surroundings towards Gouves. While looking for a supermarket, we strolled past olive trees and even saw our "Blauer Klaus", which is a street here but in white instead of blue 😁. Along the way, we searched through small souvenir shops and finally reached the sea.

As the heat made us sweat quite a bit, we decided to go to a small café for a coffee and a little ice cream after a photo stop, where we were unexpectedly refreshed by a wave. That was a great idea and we had the best coffee of the whole vacation at "George's", the friendly owner. George then brought us a bowl of fresh figs to taste and told us about acquaintances from Germany who were doing geocaching here and had also hidden a cache with him. As my son and I had also done this for some time, my son immediately went on the search and found it shortly afterwards, so that we could successfully log in.

Then we strolled leisurely back to the hotel and went to lunch. In the afternoon, we were back at the pool and sat at the pool bar to watch the water gymnastics.

In the evening, we freshened up a bit and went to eat. Today we booked a table at the Asia Restaurant. It tasted fantastic 🤤 and since I liked the cocktail at the neighboring table so much, I ordered one too. Normally, you can drink as many cocktails as you want that are all inclusive, but once in a while you also have to treat yourself to something special for 🙈9,-€.

Afterwards, we went to the bar to end the evening.
