Today I got some supplies and took it easy to prepare for the next few days. But I still went to the Royal Citadel briefly to visit it. The Royal Citadel is a massive fortress from the 17th century, which was built to defend the bay of Plymouth. However, it was not possible to visit the inside as the nearly 400-year-old fortress is still actively used as a military base.
So I continued on to a tour of the Plymouth Gin Distillery, which I had planned to do anyway ;-)
Otherwise, I will be packing again today, and this time a good weight distribution is even more important than for a short move. With the additional supplies and water, I should now be at around 30 kg, which will gradually decrease again thankfully.
Side note: There still seems to be many cuckoos here in Plymouth, whose call is particularly noticeable when you haven't heard it in ages.
