Our plan was to visit Yanchep National Park and stay there for two nights. Before that, we stopped at Pinnacles Desert, where there are thousands of sandstones up to 4m high to look at. Upon arriving at Yanchep National Park, we found that the campsite with only 20 pitches was fully booked. It was Saturday and the park was crowded with city people from Perth, which was only 45km away.
We drove another 30km back to another accommodation option, a farm. This one was also very busy, especially with families with young children. We saw goats, chickens, cows, sheep, and an alpaca passing by our camp.
