After a peaceful night, we went to a lookout point. It is reached by walking up a hill for 1 km. There is a beautiful view from up there. We ate the last mandarins and apples there. Otherwise, we always have homemade pancakes for breakfast.
From there, we drove 40 km south to Yellow Water. It is a huge wetland area crossed by two rivers. We booked a boat tour for $72 per person. During the 1.5-hour ride, an indigenous person told us a lot about the animals, the land, and the culture. We saw sooo many different bird species (even a jabiru). We also saw over 20 saltwater crocodiles, wild horses, and fish.
Afterwards, we continued 80 km south to Maguk. We slept on a $6 campground there.
