This morning we start with the first beautiful route through the wine country. We drive through the winding Baviaans Kloof. In the afternoon, we tackle the Franschoek Pass. The wine country with famous places like Robertson, Paarl, Franschoek, and Stellenbosch is only 1 hour away from Cape Town. The region is home to the oldest European settlements on the black continent. This region is particularly known for its agricultural products and, of course, wine. We reach Stellenbosch via some challenging mountain passes.
