During a 2-hour jungle hike, we learn a lot about the use of trees and other plants by indigenous people. Some tribes still live completely cut off from the outside world in certain areas of the Amazon basin. We see sloths, termites, and, in the distance, a toucan. As a little snack, we have larvae 🙈, which Manuel skillfully frees from coconut seeds with a machete. We experience a sunrise at an early hour and enjoy the incredible silence at this time. Also impressive is the setting sun after a dip in the Amazon while enjoying a well-made Caipi 🍹🍸😃.
