Today we reached the final of the Baltic capitals, Vilnius in Lithuania.
The well-maintained streets in the tourist part of the old town present a stark contrast to the dilapidated alleys off the beaten path.
The abundance of churches in the city reaches a new peak in Vilnius. There are over 50 places of worship in the city. At certain street corners, three churches may face each other. In other places, the churches are so close to each other that they almost blend together.
A short hike took us to the Hill of Three Crosses, where the symbol of the city stands.
From there, you have an unobstructed view of the entire old town.
